Follow these steps when logging in for the first time:

  1. Navigate to our homepage & click Online Banking

  2. Click the First Time User? Link

  3. Enter the necessary information (Account & SSN)

  4. Select the preferred delivery method (if applicable) for your activation code

  5. Enter the code within 24 hours to proceed with your new online banking set up

You will be prompted to create a new, unique username along with setting up a secure password and security questions upon first time login.

Password Requirements: Your password must be at least eight characters with a combination of upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters.

What won't change?

Account Numbers: Your existing account number(s) will remain the same, however account suffixes (codes that identify checking vs. savings vs. loans, etc.) will be changing.

Debit and Credit Cards: Your existing debit and credit cards will continue to work, and personal identification numbers (PINs) will not be affected. Debit and credit cards will have reduced limits during the upgrade so plan ahead for large purchases.

Direct Deposit, ACHs, or AFTs (Automatic Fund Transfers): During the upgrade direct deposits received by midday on Friday, September 30 will be posted on Friday, September 30. Any received after midday on Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 2 will not be available until Monday, October 3, when the new system goes live.

Online Loan Payments: You will still be able to make loan payments using a debit or credit card or account to account ACH. There will be a new link on our website for this feature.

Phone Banking/Automated Teller: Same toll free number but the menu options may change. Be sure to use the updated suffixes for your accounts.

What will change?

New Online Banking: We’re upgrading our core computer systems to improve the ways we serve you which includes offering a new online banking platform!

As a result, you will need to re-enroll in this service when you access it for the first time after our upgrade is complete. You will continue to go to www.powercu.org to access our Online Banking platform. If you have previously bookmarked an old login page, you will need to remove or update your existing bookmark.

Bill Pay: The last date available for bill payments to be scheduled is Thursday, September 29. Be sure to print out or save your current payee information and payment details as you will need to re-enroll in Bill Pay and the details will not carry over to the new system.

New Mobile App: Card controls will now be available in the mobile app. A separate app will no longer be required. After our upgrade is completed, the new app will be available for download within 5 - 7 days.

eStatements: If you are currently enrolled in eStatements you will automatically receive eNotices after the upgrade. You will need to re-enroll in eAlerts after the upgrade. Neither prior account history nor previous eStatements will be available within the new system.
